2016 Nevada Health Care Forum Golf Tournament

Golf for a cause – register for the 2016 Nevada Health Care Forum Golf Tournament on April 30. As in previous years, the proceeds for this event will benefit wounded troops and their families.

Where: Red Rock Country Club’s Arroyo Course

This year, the beautiful Red Rocks Country Club – Arroyo Course in Summerlin is the site of the annual tournament. With stunning views of the Spring Mountains and the Las Vegas skyline, this Arnold Palmer Signature golf course offers offers top-notch, challenging play.

A links-style Par 72 course, the Arroyo measures 6,883 yards from the longest tees and has five sets of tees. You won’t rest on your laurels here. Skills will be tested as strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and long narrow greens make play more challenging and winning sweeter.

While you’re here, check out the Arroyo Golf Club’s pro shop and the Arroyo Grill, which boasts an upscale restaurant and bar as well as a private patio with long-range views of the city and Red Rock Canyon.

Nation of Patriots

The golf tournament will benefit wounded veterans from Nevada and their families. Funds raised will be disbursed by Nation of Patriots, a non-profit organization that partners with VA facilities and other veteran organizations to help wounded vets.

Last year’s tournament benefitted 22 veterans from the Nellis Air Force Base and the local community. This year, the five-year-old event’s goal is more ambitious. It aims to double the number of veterans who will benefit from the event.

Play and sponsor

Groups and individuals can help in two ways. They can play in the tournament or become a sponsor. Or you can always do both. Some sponsorships come with a Foursome registration.

Players can register as an Individual ($125) or a Foursome ($500). The tournament will be played in a scramble format with 4 persons in a team.  Those who register as individual players will be matched with other golfers to form a 4-person team.

  • Platinum-Sponsor a Veteran Sponsorship ($2,500) – Direct sponsorship of a local veteran from Nellis Hospital. Includes a Foursome.
  • Gold Sponsorship ($1,500) – Includes a Foursome and advertising and hole sponsorship.
